Grades 7 & 8 - Monday
Grades 9-12 - Day 1 |
STUDENT SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS
The week of November 15-21, 2009 was anti-bullying week in Canada and in other countries around the world. This week, we will continue with our anti-bullying theme at Trinity and integrate other student presentations in that opportunity as we will host students from other schools in the Ottawa area who will participate in our student presentation of Romeo & Juliet and the grade 7 & 8 Wrestling City Championship on Wednesday.
Constable Arun Daniels (School Resource Officer) has made presentations to grade 7 students last week and will continue delivering his anti-bullying message to our grade 8 students this week. On Tuesday the school will host Jim Jordan who will showcase his anti-bullying presentation to our grade 7 & 8 students on that afternoon. Bullying is a community problem and we must all play a role in the area of bullying prevention and thus stamp out bullying in our school.
On Wednesday morning, one hundred grade 9 students from St. Joseph Catholic High School will join our own grade 9 students who will enjoy a preview of Holy Trinity's presentation of Romeo & Juliet which is set to open on Thursday, December 3 in our school cafetorium. On the same day, Holy Trinity will host the grade 7 & 8 Wrestling City Championship. Students from participating Ottawa Catholic and public French schools and our own Catholic schools will be attending the tournament. As you can imagine, Holy Trinity will be a busy place on that day.
