Grades 7 & 8 - Wednesday
Grades 9-12 - Day 2

CELEBRATING
HEALTHY LIVING

As we are only a few days away from the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies, we continue to promote healthy living within our school community. Our intermediate students continue to be involved in our daily physical activity initiative as mandated by the ministry of education as part of the Healthy Schools program. As a supplement to this initiative, the school will hold its annual full-day ski trip to Mont Ste. Marie for all interested students from grade 7-12 on Tuesday, February 9. In addition to this opportunity, a number of our high school students will be travelling to Mont Ste. Anne in Quebec City and enjoy a three days ski outing from Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14.

On Friday, February 12, our grade 7 & 8 students will participate in our annual Exposé Assembly. During this student-led assembly, our high school leadership students supported by a few representatives of the Exposé Team will expose the truth about the tobacco industry and its impact on all Canadians who become addicted to tobacco. It is imperative that the youth of today take a stand against tobacco and become strong advocates for a healthy living lifestyle just like our Canadian Olympians. It is our hope that each member of our school community may live his/her dream and achieves his/her expectation. The gold, silver, or bronze should be in each individual's reach. I believe.....
